At Half Global (Yi Ban Ltd), we are committed to deepening human connections and fostering authentic dialogues around mental resilience and wellbeing. Guided by our mantra of “putting humans first,” we work to challenge the stigma that still surrounds mental health and reshape how it is understood today, creating wellness-focused experiences that spark meaningful engagement, personal growth and authentic relationships that bring people closer to themselves and to one another.
Our Founders
Cynthia Chu
Cynthia is a marketer with 15 years of cross-disciplinary experience across the integrated marketing spectrum. She has built and grown brands across both B2B and B2C landscapes in Asia-Pacific and Europe. Her portfolio includes global and regional work with clients such as Apple, S&P Global, Vodafone Enterprise, Health Promotion Board, CISCO, Hewlett Packard, CyberSource and Singapore Grand Prix. Beyond brand work, Cynthia has contributed her expertise to social causes, volunteering with NeuGen, a subsidiary of ISCOS, to support children and families of ex-offenders.
Rebekah Lin
Rebekah is a Gerontologist by training and has 12 years of experience in the private equity and equity crowdfunding space. She has rallied more than 100 individuals, 90 corporations and more than 250 partners with The Social Co. to raise S$5M for more than 50 charities in Singapore. She has also served on various government committees and organisations. These include the Community Chest, the National Youth Fund, the Majurity Trust’s Momentum Grant and the Agency for Integrated Care. She previously sat on the board of the Yellow Ribbon Fund, Scape, the Mental Health Film Festival (Singapore) and KampungKakis. She is also a marketing lecturer at the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Both Cynthia and Rebekah are certified Mental Wellness Coaches, registered Mental Health First Aiders and are trained as Friends of Samaritans with the Samaritans of Singapore.
